Paul Dean Blythe, 55, of De Land, IL, passed away at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, September 8, 2016 at his residence.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 12, 2016 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL. A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Mr. Blythe was born September 29, 1960 in Monticello, Il the son of Verneil "Jingles" P. and Barbara J. Lowery Blythe.

Paul is survived by 2 sons: Anthony (Megan) Blythe; Paul Blythe; parents: Verneil and Barbara Blythe; brother: Danny (Alice) Blythe; twin sister: Penny (Jeff) Davis, 2 other sisters: Terri (Tom) Conlin and Jody (Terry) Ramsey; 3 grandchildren and special friend: Cindy Thornell.

He was a US Army veteran. He liked tennis and girl's basketball. Paul was a Bears, Cubs, Bulls and Fighting Illini fan.
