Patty J. Hack, 74, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 6:59 p.m., Friday, December 2, 2011 at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL, surrounded by her loving family.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the Tuscola Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL.
Patty was born on October 13, 1937 in Tuscola, IL, the daughter of Harold F. and Bernadine M. Schwanz Donnals.
Survivors include her daughters: Margaret (Jim) Rock of Cecilia, KY, Barbara Bonner of Champaign, IL and Joy Gabbard of Atwood, IL, brother: Kim Donnals of Arcola, IL, 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Harold O. Donnals and sister: Darlene Simpson
Memorials are suggested to the Tuscola, Atwood-Hammond or Villa Grove High Schools Athletic Departments.
Patty retired from the Tuscola IGA, where she worked as a cashier and office manager for over 20 years. She enjoyed bowling and working in her flower garden. Patty was an avid football fan and Indianapolis Colts fan. More than anything, Patty loved her family and friends. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was a caring person who will be deeply missed.
