Olive Jean Day, 83, of Arcola, IL, formerly of Garrett, IL, passed away at 6:30 pm, Friday, December 10, 2010 at the Arcola Health Care Center, Arcola, IL
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, December 13, 2010 at the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL. No Visitation will be held. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL has been entrusted with the arrangments.
Olive was born on March 28, 1927 in Humboldt, IL, the daughter of Leigh Roy and Myrtle Heiple Hilligoss. She married James Day on April 19, 1947 in Flora, IL. He preceded her in death November 23, 1998.
Survivors include her daughters: Teresa Ard of Tuscola, IL, and Olivia Wills of Bondville, IL, 3 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren
She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
She was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, watching TV and drinking Diet Coke.
