Obituary
NORMAN G. SANDERS, 66, of Camargo, IL, formerly of Atwood, IL, died at 2:09 PM, Saturday, January 6, 2007 at his residence.
Graveside Services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, January 9, 2007 at the Mackville Cemetery, Atwood, IL, with the Rev. Veronica Don officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M., Monday, January 8, 2007 at the
Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL.
Mr. Sanders was born on January 26, 1940 in Atwood, IL, the son of Francis R. and Eva L. Evans Sanders. He married Jane Cox on July 5, 1964 in Atwood, IL. She preceded him in death on August 27, 1999.
Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Becky Cooprider and husband: Sean of Centerville, IA, Paula Sanders of Decatur, IL, 3 Grandsons: Jonathon, Christopher and Cameron, 1 Brother: Marvin Sanders of Atwood, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association or American Heart Association.
Mr. Sanders retired from Caterpillar in Decatur, IL, where he worked for 30 years as a welder, retiring in 2000. He was a member of the UAW Local #751, Decatur, IL. He was a member of the United Church of Atwood.
