Norma Anne Rahn, 79, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 6:45 P.M., Friday, July 4, 2008 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 10 A.M., Monday, July 7, 2008 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 600 East Northline Road, Tuscola, IL, with Rev. James Wright officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M., Sunday, July 6, 2008 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Burial will be in the Lewis Cemetery, rural Tuscola, IL

Mrs. Rahn was born on September 17, 1928 in Champaign County, IL, the daughter of Robert and Grace Ehler Christian. She married Merle L. Rahn on June 18, 1950 in Thomasboro, IL. He preceded her in death on October 10, 1991.

Survivors include: 1 Daughter: Theresa Fields and husband: Corky of Villa Grove, IL, 2 Sons: Bruce Rahn of Hindsboro, IL, Cary Rahn and wife: Beth of Bourbon, IL, 6 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 Son: Kevin Rahn

Mrs. Rahn was a retired cook, having worked at several restaurants in Tuscola. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, Ladies Aid, Douglas County Farm Bureau Women's Committee, Tuscola Homemaker's Home Extension, TOPS and Prime Timers'

She enjoyed cooking, especially baking pies for people and catering. She loved sending cards for birthday's and anniversaries.
