Nola E. "Granny" Wilhelm, 102, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 10:15 p.m., Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the Newman Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Newman, IL.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Cartwright Cemetery, rural Tuscola, IL.
Nola was born on May 23, 1909 in Falls of Rough, Kentucky, the daughter of Marion and Julia Rodgers Allen. She married Henry Howard Wilhelm on November 12, 1930 in Hardinsburg, Kentucky. He preceded her in death on August 8, 1993.
Survivors include her granddaughter: Jarie (John) Stonecipher of Newman, IL and great-granddaughter: Kylee (Darin) Peterson of Troy, IL.
She was preceded in death by her daughter: Marie Shook Winings Hatfield, brothers: Jack, Guy and Sol Allen and sister: Lucille Hayse

Nola was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family, which was her number one priority. Nola was a very kind and giving woman. She had a very green thumb and she loved gardening and tending her flowers.
