Neoma F. Sparks, 77, of Atwood, IL passed away at 4:56 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home 66 E. US Highway 36, Atwood, IL is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Mrs. Sparks was born January 26, 1935 in Rural Atwood, Il the daughter of Walter and Laura Evans Bragg. She married Jim "Sparky" Sparks July 19, 1954. He preceded her in death October 21, 1991.
Neoma was a cook at USI in Tuscola for many years. She enjoyed playing BINGO.
She is survived by 2 Daughters: Melinda Gaskill of Lovington, IL; Rosa Robison of Monticello, IL; 2 Grandchildren: Frankie Gaskill of Atwood, IL; and Austin Gaskill of Petoskey, MI; 2 Sisters: Virginia Brady of Tolono, IL; and Viola Case of Ivesdale, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
