Nell M. Manwaring, 86, of Tuscola, IL, died at 7:50 AM, Sunday, November 12, 2006 at the Newman Health Care Center, Newman, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 16, 2006 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with the Rev. Bruce Baumberger officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL

Mrs. Manwaring was born on December 7, 1919 in Arthur, IL, the daughter of Jess and Bess Crane Fifer. She married Harold W. Manwaring on June 12, 1937 in Murdock, IL. He preceded her in death on November 16, 1995.

McCartney of Bayfield, CO, 2 Brothers: Earl Fifer of Phoenix, AZ, Walter Fifer of Indianapolis, IN, 4 Grandchildren: Ronald J. McCartney of Deltona, FL, Jessica Hall of Decatur, IL, Marcy Brookins of Savoy, IL, Patty Beasley of Tampa, FL, 5 Great-Grandchildren: Kassie Brookins, Spencer Cleland, Derrick Hall, Christina Mabe, Scott Elliot, 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren: Braden Hall & Dakota Jo Hall

She was preceded in death by her Parents, 1 Sister: Doris Royalty

Mrs. Manwaring was a homemaker. She and her husband lived all of their married life in Tuscola. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was a good cook and she enjoyed playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, reading and spending time with her family.
