Nancy Ann Smith, 83, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 3:23 p.m., Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL

Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Tuscola United Church of Christ with Rev. Ralph Deal officiating. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL is entrusted with the arrangements.

Nancy was born at Jarman Hospital, Tuscola, IL on January 9, 1935, the daughter of Oscar Byron "O.B" and Florence Margaret Weaver Smith.

She graduated from Tuscola Community High School in 1953. Her first job was with Central Illinois Public Service Company. She later worked for Lemna and Lee Law Office as a legal secretary. Her last job was doing office work for the Tuscola Township.

She was a member of the Tuscola United Church of Christ and sang in the church choir. Nancy was an active member of the Tuscola Chapter #44 Order of the Eastern Star and participated with Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed her card group, monthly class get-togethers, Tuesday Bible Study and Birthday Group.

Nancy is survived by her brother: Robert (Jane) Smith of Madison, WI and 2 nephews: David Smith of Madison, WI and Stephen (Carrie) of Colorado Springs, CO, niece: Julia (Colin) Stone of Denver, CO, 8 great-nieces and nephews: Jacob and Michael Smith of Madison, WI, Nicole Smith of Portage, WI, Sawyer, Saxon and Summit Smith of Colorado Springs, CO, Calvin and Maya Stone of Denver, CO.

Memorials are suggested to the Tuscola United Church of Christ.
