Nancy Virginia Russell, 78, of Arthur, died at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Carle Hospital in Urbana.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 18,2023 at Shrader Funeral Home, 431 S. Vine Street, Arthur, with Rev. John Stewart officiating.  Burial will follow in the Arthur Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 17, 2023 at the funeral home.

Nancy was born November 17, 1944 in Jacksonville, Illinois, the daughter of Loren and Catherine Bamman Lovell.  She was united in marriage to Jack Russell in Arthur on April 15, 1967.

She is survived by her husband, Jack Russell of Arthur; daughter, Mary Ann Wright and husband, Jerry of Arthur; 2 grandchildren, Trevor Wright and fiancee` Kaleigh Patten of Toledo; Mackenzie Wright of Arthur; 1 great grandson, Elliott Wright.   She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.

Nancy worked as a bookkeeper for O.E.Schrock and Willoughby Implement  in Arthur for 20 years.  Her hobbies include painting and working with stained glass.  She loved spending time with family and friends, spoiling her grandkids, collecting rocks from all 50 states, and loved to travel.

Memorials are suggested to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
