Mildred Naomi Doole Nation, 93, of Tuscola, IL, formerly of Springfield, IL, passed away at 10:15 AM, Thursday, August 2, 2007 at her residence.
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 6, 2007 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery, Springfield, IL with the Rev. Cecil Smith officiating. Visitation will be held from 2-4 PM, Saturday, August 4, 2007 with a Memorial Service at 4:00 P.M., at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL.
Mrs. Nation was born on September 2, 1913 in Liberty, IL, the daughter of George B. and Naomi Arntzen Doole. She married James E. Nation, Sr. on September 19, 1946 in Springfield, IL. He preceded her in death on November 20, 1994.
Survivors include: Two Sons: James E. Nation, Jr. and wife: Deborah of Ada, Michigan, Thomas H. Nation and wife: Linda of Tuscola, IL, Four Grandchildren: Rachel Nation-Standorf, Elizabeth Dugan, Courtney Stockon, Kristin Nation, Three Great-Grandchildren: Marley Standorf, Isabel Standorf, Foster Dugan
She was preceded by her Parents, One Brother and Two Sisters.

Mrs. Nation worked as an X-ray Technician at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL for 25 years. Mrs. Nation and her husband both volunteered for many years at Lincoln's Tomb in Springfield. She attended the Tuscola First Christian Church.
