Michael D. "Mike" Ekstrom, 60, of Mahomet, IL passed away at 2:37 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, 600 East Northline Rd, Tuscola, IL with Pastor Jason Braaten officiating. Burial will follow in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.

Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main St., Tuscola, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mr. Ekstrom was born June 7, 1957 in Rock Island, IL the son of William Donovan and Janice Nott Ekstrom. He married Cindy Harbaugh May 5, 2006 in Tuscola, IL. She survives.

Other survivors include 3 brothers: Will Ekstrom of Fairbury, IL; Jon (HiDee) Ekstrom of Royal, IL and David (Cheryl) Ekstrom of Bondville, IL; a sister: Kathy (Nathan) Lewis of Casey, IL and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Mike was an accountant/bookkeeper for many years, he truly enjoyed working with numbers. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Tuscola, IL and the Tuscola Lions Club.
