Obituary
Max Lee Hendrix, 18, of Arthur, died Sunday, November 8, 2009, in Bourbon Township, as a result of injuries sustained from a motor vehicle accident.
Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Arthur Cemetery with Pastor Doug Davis officiating. Visitation will be held from 4:00-8:00 PM Wednesday at Shrader Funeral Home, 431 S. Vine Street, Arthur.
Max was born May 24, 1991 in Decatur, the son of Connie Gentry Myers.
He is survived by his mother, Connie Myers and special friend Jeff Taylor of Arthur; sister, Sydni Hendrix of Arthur; grandfather, Ira W. Plank of Arthur; and great grandmother, Ida Gentry of Decatur. He was preceded in death by grandparents.
Max graduated from Arthur High School in 2009 where he was selected as Salutatorian. He was the recipient of several scholarships including the Lakeland College Foundation Scholarship, where he was enrolled as a freshman. Max also worked part time at the Pumpkin Patch near Arthur.
