Matthew J. Wilke, 26, of Tuscola, IL passed away at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, March 9, 2014.

A Celebration of His Faith will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2014 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. No visitation will be held.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Crosswalk Chapel, North Pekin, IL.

Mr. Wilke was born June 30, 1987 in Chula Vista, CA the son of Leo H. and Diane E. Smith Wilke.

Survivors include his parents Leo and Diane Wilke of Tuscola; brother: Jerry R. Wilke and wife Danielle of Tuscola; niece: Avery Wilke of Tuscola; cousins: Nicole Liffick and Aaron Triplett.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and aunt: Charlene Triplett.

Matthew was a 2005 graduate of Tuscola Community High School. He attended Illinois Central College in Peoria for 3 years, where he played baseball. Matthew worked at Brookstone Estates in Tuscola as a resident assistant.
