Mary Lou Stortzum, 79, of Tuscola, IL died 7:46 P.M. Thursday, March 9, 2006 at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana, IL.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, March 13, 2006 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 S. Main St. Tuscola, IL with Rev. Joe Carter officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL.
Mrs. Stortzum was born on January 3, 1927 in Effingham, IL, the daughter of James and Eileen Young Hurst. She married Leonard D. Bieber. He preceded her in death. She married Harold E. "Red" Stortzum on March 24, 1979 in Tuscola, IL. He preceded her in death on May 25, 1992.
Survivors include: 2 Step-Sons, 4 Step-Daughters
She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 Son: Steven Lee Bieber.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, Greater Midwest Affiliate, 3816 Paysphere Circle Chicago, IL 60674.
Mrs. Stortzum was a homemaker and former assembly line worker at the Magnavox plant in Champaign, IL. She enjoyed fishing, flower arranging, turtle hunting, doing crafts, gardening and socializing with her friends. Condolences to the family may be sent to hilligossshraderfh.com
