Mary Madeline McKimmy, 78, of Hindsboro, died at 4:25 AM Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010 at Heartland Christian Village in Neoga.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010 at Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola, with Rev. Bruce Baker officiating. Burial will follow in the Davis Cemetery in Pesotum. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service.
Mary was born March 21, 1931 in Yosemite, Kentucky, the daughter of Ernest and Oma Yaden Richardson. She married Thomas H. McKimmy in Shelbyville, Kentucky on June 13, 1958; he preceded her in death on June 15, 1996.
Survivors include 2 sons, Tim McKimmy of Gays; James McKimmy of California; 2 daughters, Mary Ann Smith of Dallas, Texas; Vicki Armstrong of Slidell, Louisiana; 2 brothers; 3 sisters; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death on an infant son, Thomas H. McKimmy; and 2 sisters.
Mary was a homemaker and a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Skokie.
