Mary J. Lucas, 75, of Tuscola, IL, died at 9:20 PM, Tuesday, October 24, 2006, at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, October 28, 2006 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until time of services on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL.

Mrs. Lucas was born on July 1, 1931 in Bloomington, Illinois,
the daughter of Guy and Joan Bell Crum. She married Clarence W. Lucas on December 31, 1952 in Leroy, IL. He survives.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, 1 Son: Curtis L. Lucas, 1 Daughter: Susan K. Smith

Mrs. Lucas was a retired LPN, having worked at Jarman Hospital, Tuscola, IL, and for Dr. Robert Arrol in Arcola, IL. She was a member of the Tuscola United Church of Christ and was past senior regent at the Tuscola Moose Lodge. She enjoyed crocheting and working crossword puzzles.
