Mary Frances Harden, 91, of Mattoon, died at 5:04 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the Odd Fellow Rebekah Home in Mattoon.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Immaculate Conception Church, 320 N. 21 ^st Street, Mattoon, with Father John Titus as officiant. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Mattoon. Shrader Funeral Home, Arcola, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Mary was born December 12, 1925 in Mattoon, the daughter of Frank Charles and Dorothy Belle White Littleton. She married Rex Gene Harden on June 23, 1946; he preceded her in death on Feb. 7, 1979.

Survivors include her children, Mark (Melissa) Harden of Mattoon; Cathy (Michael) Lynch of Mattoon; Scott (Angela) Harden of Tallahassee, Florida; and 4 grandchildren, Laci, Keaton, Skylor, and Chancelor Harden. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Mary had worked at the Brown Shoe Company, General Electric, and retired from RR Donnelley Sons Co. in Mattoon. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church, Elks Club, Moose Club, and YMCA of Mattoon.
