Sue Cox Dickson, 68, of Monticello, Illinois, died at 6:10 AM, Monday, February 20, 2006 at her residence.

Memorial Services celebrating her life will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, February 25, 2006 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with the Rev. Russell Adams officiating. A visiting hour for friends of the family will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Mrs. Dickson will be cremated and her ashes will be scattered on the family farm.

Mrs. Dickson was born on April 10, 1937 in Tuscola, IL, the daughter of Palmer Sargent and Miriam Beall Cox.

Survivors include: 3 Sons: James T. Dickson of Tolono, IL, Craig R. Dickson of Champaign, IL, Bradley E. Dickson and wife: Patricia Owens of Paxton, IL, 1 Daughter: Teri S. Dickson of Monticello, IL, 1 Brother:
C. Edward Cox and wife: Sam of Cape Coral, FL, Step-Mother: Rosemary Nussel Cox of Camargo, IL, 1 Step-Sister: Marylee Nussel McGee and husband: Kim of Newman, IL, 2 Grandchildren: Jessica Lynn and James Palmer

She was preceded by her parents.

Mrs. Dickson was a 1955 Graduate of Tuscola Community High School. She earned a Bachelor's degree from Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, IL. Mrs. Dickson was a senior systems analyst at Carle Clinic Association, Urbana, IL, where she worked from 1978 until her retirement in 1999. She formerly owned a yarn and fabric shop and worked for J.L. Allen Construction Company in Tuscola, IL. She worked part-time for Metritech in Champaign, IL.
