Mary C. Bowen, 79, of Tuscola, passed away Wednesday evening March 4, 2026 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.
Mary was born on April 30, 1946 in Muscoda, WI, the daughter of Byron D. Cudney and Mildred F. Lettman Graham Cudney. She married James E. Bowen on April 27, 1968 in Muscoda, WI. He preceded her in death on July 19, 1985.
Survivors include her children: Tracy Kelly, Terri (Jim) Heath and James Bowen, grandchildren: Tristan (Keila), Kaleb (Taylor), Mason and Meri and great-grandchildren: Aldo, Adelyn, Arely and Zane and her beloved cat; Henry James.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings.
Mary worked as a daycare provider for many years. She loved to decorate her home and spend time with her family. Mary also enjoyed sewing, making quilts, flower gardening, feeding the critters, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and doing crossword puzzles.
Per Mary’s request, no services will be held.
