Marvin "Rocky" Pepple, 72, of Atwood, IL, passed away at 12:39 p.m., Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at the St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur, IL
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, June 24, 2012 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, June 23, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mackville Cemetery, Atwood, IL.
Rocky was born on February 27, 1940 in St. Francisville, IL, the son of Edward T. and Lorene E. Brust Pepple. He married Sharon " Sue" Jay on January 20, 1979 in Decatur, IL. She survives.
Other survivors include their children: Carrie (Donell) Creel, Mark (Christina) Renshaw, Candy Muckelvaney, Troy (Jennifer) Renshaw, Sonya (Tommy) Thompson and Bobbi (Joe) Parsley, brother: Robert (Pat) Zerkle, sister: Carolyn (Doug) Adkins, 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Memorials are suggested to the Maranatha Assembly of God, Decatur, IL
Rocky was a retired truck driver, having driven for Ecoff, Riddle's, Indian River and Oakley Trucking for over 40 years. He enjoyed fishing.
