Martha Mary Sieh, 97, of Hammond, IL, passed away at 6:10 pm, Sunday, May 23, 2010 at the Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, Atwood, IL, with Rev. Linda Peyla and Rev. Dennis Jones officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mackville Cemetery, Atwood, IL.

Mrs. Sieh was born on July 12, 1912 in Piatt County, IL, the daughter of Willis and Alice Fitzwater Fristoe. She married Marvin Sieh on July 18, 1931 at the Lake Fork Church, rural Atwood, IL. He preceded her in death on August 8, 1981.
Survivors include her Son: Danny Sieh of Cherry Hill, NJ, her Daughters: Marlene Corman and husband; Robert of Monticello, IL, Sonya Jay and husband; Art of Findlay, IL. 7 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren, 1 Brother: Brad Fristoe of Champaign, IL, 1 Sister: Alice McClure of Decatur, IL.

She was preceded in death by 2 Brothers and 4 Sisters.

Memorials are suggested to Friendship Hill or the Hammond United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Sieh was a member of the Hammond United Methodist church and a homemaker. She and her husband farmed north of Atwood prior to their retirement. Upon her husbands death, she moved to Hammond. Mrs. Sieh was a very devoted Christian and a great seamstress. Her family was the love of her life and her grandchildren called her "Grandma Great".
