Martha Mae Rose, 80, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 12:55 PM, Saturday, March 11, 2006 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, March 15, 2006 at the Tuscola United Methodist Church, 901 North Prairie Street, Tuscola, IL, with the Rev. Bruce Baumberger officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL and 1 hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Bono Cemetery, Bono, Indiana.

Mrs. Rose was born on September 13, 1925 in Dana, IN, the daughter of Lester and Grace Hollingsworth Keen. She married Robert John Rose on May 23, 1943 in Camp Crowder, MO. He preceded her in death on November 25, 1996.

Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Carol Jane Zane and husband: Oscar of Tuscola, IL, Sharon Kay Capie and husband: Thomas of Tuscola, IL, 1 Brother: Roger Keen of Green Bay, WI, 3 Grandchildren: Michael Robert Zane of Kenosha, WI, Scott Eric Zane of Robinson, IL, Christy Capie Hoel of Tuscola, IL, 3 Great-Grandchildren: Sydney Hoel, Alexia Zane, Marisa Zane, 2 Nephews, 1 Niece.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Rose was a homemaker. She had formerly worked as a retail sales clerk for the Four Seasons Clothing Store in Tuscola for 25 years. She was a member of the Tuscola United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, doing needlework, watching NASCAR races and she was an avid Illini Basketball Fan.
