Marsha Kay (Still) Perkins Melton, 68, of Arcola, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at home surrounded by family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Arcola Cemetery with Rev. Vince Rohn officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, at Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola.

Marsha was born January 18, 1947, the daughter of Dale and Phyllis Kutz Still. She married Jeffery Perkins in 1966; he preceded in death in December, 1972. She then married Dennis Melton on August 24, 1973 in Arcola.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis Melton of Arcola; 2 sons, Brian (Shelley) Perkins of Alexis; Ryan (Sherri) Melton of Arcola; daughter, Brandi Melton and fiancee`, Jon, of Arcola; brother, Ron (Regina) Still of Arcola; 7 grandchildren, Meghan and Bridget Perkins of Alexis; Alexis Melton of Tolono; Jordan Melton of Arcola; Madysen and Mackenzie Melton and Anthony Turnbaugh all of Arcola; step grandchildren, Richard and Lexie Jaeger of Arcola.

Marsha graduated from Arcola High School Class of 1965. She attended Shelbyville Business College as a court stenographer. She worked as secretary/bookkeeper most of her life. She was a member of the Arcola United Methodist Church.

Marsha enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandkids! She loved to curl up with a good book and spend time with her special friend, Kimberly Buckley.
