Mark Edward Daily, 51, passed away in his home Tuesday, December 27th, 2011, after a short battle with cancer.

Mark was born May 4, 1960 in Decatur, IL to the late Larry Lee Daily and Carla Jean (Moses) Daily King.

He married Tammy Jo Evans March 4th, 1995, in Myrtle Beach, SC, where he worked at Wolverine Brass for 16 years. He returned to Atwood, IL in 2008, where he and Tammy opened Rosy's Café.

Mark is survived by his wife; son, Jeremy Daily; daughter, Jessica Marie Daily and grandson, Paxton Davis Daily of TN; mother and step-father, Carla and Dale King of Arcola; brother & sister-in-law, Brian and Janice Daily of Arthur; special niece and nephews, Karen (Nathan) Butterick of Tuscola; Steven Daily of Arthur; Matthew (Pam) Daily of Decatur; 4 grandchildren and 7 great-neices/nephews; a special aunt and uncle, Cathy and Carl Mueller.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Larry Lee Daily; his grandparents; father-in-law, Dick Evans of Bethany; and a very special mother-in-law, Freeda May Mann.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 30th, at the Hilligoss-Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood with burial at Keller Cemetery, Lovington. Visitation will be 6-8 Thursday, December 29th at the funeral home.

Mark loved his family, friends and dogs and will be greatly missed by them all. Memorials may be made in his name to the Douglas County Animal Shelter or DMH Hospice.
