Mark Cloyd, 62, of Neoga, IL passed away at 3:45 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2022 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon, IL.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday December 19, 2022 at the Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola, IL.  Burial will follow in the Bethel Cemetery rural Mattoon, IL with military graveside rites accorded.

Visitation will be held 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2022 at the funeral home.

Mr. Cloyd was born April 4, 1960 in Spokane, WA the son of Frank R. and Helen C. "Sally" Smart Cloyd.  He married Angel Kerans in Mattoon, IL on September 4, 1986.  She survives.

Other survivors include 3 daughters: Christine (Tony) Morgan, Roxi Cloyd and Tehya Cloyd all of Mattoon, 3 sons: Anthony Cloyd of Charleston, Zachary Cloyd and Ashton Cloyd both of Mattoon, 2 grandchildren: Kaydenze and Ryder Drummond, 3 sisters: Claudia (Jonathan) Boyd of Neoga, Cecilia (Bill) Livesay and Carolyn Cloyd all of Mattoon and a niece and 2 nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents and nephew: Luke Cloyd.

Mark worked construction for many years. He served his country in the US Army. Mark was an avid reader and guitar player. He enjoyed woodworking, spending time with his family and listening to the Bob and Tom Show.
