Mark R. Allen, 60, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 10:47 a.m., Friday, May 9, 2014 at the Champaign Urbana Nursing and Rehab Center, Savoy, IL

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, May 12, 2014 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Monday following the visitation time.

Private family interment will be held at the Tuscola Township Cemetery.

Mark was born on July 18, 1953 in Tuscola, IL, the son of Shorty and Babe Reimer Allen. He married Deborah D. Snyder on September 25, 1982 in Hindsboro, IL. She preceded him in death on February 25, 2014.

Survivors include his daughter: Logan (Jack) Norman of Tuscola, IL, grandchildren: Darcee Lewis and Parker Norman, sister: Rita (Richard) Willoughby of Tuscola, IL, brothers: Mike (Martha) Allen of Winter Haven, FL, Oppie (Carol) Allen of rural Hammond, IL, other family members include: Roger (Pat) Ingrum of Murray, KY, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister: Madonna Keene

Mark retired from Kraft Foods in Champaign, IL, where he worked for over 30 years.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the donor's choice.

He was a member of the Tuscola Moose Lodge. Mark enjoyed, cooking, baking, hunting, traveling, NASCAR and Indy car racing. He especially loved spending time visiting with his many friends and family members.
