Marjorie Ann Warters, 87, of Fairmont, WV, formerly of Tuscola, IL, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025. She was born in Morgantown on February 8, 1938, a daughter of the late John E. Moore and Sara E. Ritchie Moore.

Marjorie attended the Boothsville United Methodist Church. She loved taking care of the elderly and devoted her life to working in the healthcare at various nursing homes.

Marjorie is survived by her daughters, Mary Wurth of Fairmont and Becky Nicholson of Morgantown; step-daughters: Kathy Biggs of FL and Patty (Steve) Holaday of Arcola, grandchildren, Daniel Wurth of Fairmont, Erik Nicholson (Jacob Wolfe) of Morgantown, Andrew Nicholson (Serenity McCabe) of Fairmont, and Megan Nicholson (Jonathan Fleming) of Morgantown; great grandchildren, Alexander Nicholson of Fairmont and Callum Fleming of Morgantown; 7 step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren, a brother, Edward Moore of Morgantown; and a special niece, Sally Beatty of Lakeland, FL.

In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her husband; Francis D. Warters of IL; and sister, Rebecca Beatty.

In accordance with Marjorie's wishes, her final disposition will be cremation.
