Marjorie F. Blakeney, 92, of Tuscola, IL, passed from this life at 1:18 p.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Tuscola First Christian Church, 100 East Church Street, Tuscola, IL with Pastors Art Wilson and Ron Blakeney officiating. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mrs. Blakeney was born June 4, 1922 in Murdock, IL, the daughter of Ira and Irene Mast Potts. She married William "Ken" Blakeney. He preceded her in death.
Marjorie is survived by her children: Diana Lewis of Kentucky, William Blakeney of Florida, Marla Wilson of Kansas, Ron Blakeney of Missouri, Paul Blakeney of Illinois and Julia Anderson of Illinois; a brother: Dale Potts of Lexington, NC; 12 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother.
Marjorie was a member of the Tuscola First Christian Church, Tuscola, IL.
