Marjorie June Allen, 92, of Tuscola, IL passed away at 5:00 a.m. Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2016 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with Rev. Ted Mitchell officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Mrs. Allen was born June 12, 1923 in Mattoon, IL the daughter of William F. and Jennie L. Thomas Creviston. She married William R. Allen May 5, 1945 in Portland, OR. He preceded her in death on November 8, 2008.

June is survived by 2 Sons: James R. Allen of Canton, GA and Robert B. Allen of Orland Park, IL; 2 Daughters: Janice R. Crawford of Oswego, Il and Leone L. Tingle of Locust Grove, GA; 5 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 Brother and 2 Sisters.
Mrs. Allen was a US Navy veteran serving during World War II. She worked for the Champaign County Department Human Services as the installation supervisor for 23 years retiring in 1987. June was a member of the former First Presbyterian Church of Tuscola.
