Marilyn W. Donaldson, 84, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 9:14 a.m., Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center, Mattoon, IL
Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at the Dodge Grove Cemetery, Mattoon, IL, with the Rev. Don Pankey officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 18, 2009 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL.
Mrs. Donaldson was born on August 12, 1924 in Galesburg, IL, the daughter of David and Eula Kutchler Wingate. She married Charles R. Donaldson on December 29, 1946 in Avon, IL. He preceded her in death on November 25, 2004.
Survivors include her daughter: Janet Belles and husband: Doug of Mattoon, IL, Grandsons: Nicolas Belles and wife: Christine, Jeffrey Belles and Ryan Donaldson, Great-Grandchildren: Nicole and Zachrey, Daughter-In-Law: Jane Jones of Mattoon, IL
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Son: Jim Donaldson and 2 Brothers
In Lieu of Flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the Douglas County Museum, Hands-4-Paws or the Make-A-Wish Foundation
Marilyn was a homemaker. She was a member of the Tuscola United Methodist Church and the Tuscola Moose Lodge. She enjoyed playing bingo and bridge and attending family get-togethers.
