Lula Marie Yost, 85, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 6:22 a.m., Friday, December 2, 2016 at her residence.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2016
at the Humboldt Cemetery, Humboldt, IL. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, December 5, 2016 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL

Marie was born on December 25, 1930 in Coles County, IL,  the daughter of Silas and Lillie Hawn Hopper.

She married Melburn Yost on September 10, 1946 in Toledo, IL. He preceded her in death on September 15, 1989.
Survivors include her son: Michael L. Yost and wife: Connie, 701 North Carico Street, Lot 1, Tuscola, IL 61953, 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Her best friend and companion "Buddy".

She was preceded in death by her husband and a sister.

Marie earned her beautician license and retired from Kraft Corporation in Champaign, IL

She liked to read and crochet.
