Margie Lee Phillips, 81, of Arthur died at 8:45 PM Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Mason Point in Sullivan.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at Vine Street Christian Church, Arthur, with Rev. Rick Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Arthur Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesday at Shrader Funeral Home, 431 S. Vine Street, Arthur.
Mrs. Phillips was born March 30, 1930 in Cadwell, the daughter of Elva and Wonita Balzell Williams. She was united in marriage to Keith Phillips in Sullivan on Oct. 2, 1948.
Survivors include her husband, Keith, of Arthur; 2 sons, Reginald (Martha) Phillips of Charleston; Roger (Nancy) Phillips of Plainfield, Indiana; 1 daughter, Renae Phillips and life partner, Terrie Bennett of Lubbock, Texas; 6 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Bob (Wanda) Williams of Yorkville; and sister, Mary (Warren) Coburn of Elmhurst.
Mrs. Phillips retired from Beachy's Counter Tops in Arthur after 25 years. She was a member of Vine Street Christian Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and playing bridge with her many friends throughout the years.
