Margie J. Oakley, 82, of rural Tuscola, IL, passed away at 9:33 AM, Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at home with her family by her side.

Private Family Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 29, 2007 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main St. Tuscola, IL. Burial will be in Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL.

Mrs. Oakley was born May 29, 1924 in Cumberland County, Illinois the daughter of Virgil and Millie Goodman Knupp. She married Ralph M. Oakley on August 27, 1944. He preceded her in death on August 21, 2005.

Survivors include 3 Sons: Ralph Oakley Jr. and wife Iris of Zionsville, IN; Roger Oakley and wife Sheila of St. James, MO; Mark Oakley and wife Cindy of LeRoy, IL; 3 Daughters: Diane Bierman and husband Jim of Tuscola, IL; Connie Woolsey and husband Dan of Champagn, IL; Debbie Briggs and husband Marty of Tuscola, IL; 2 Brothers: John Martin Knupp of Frankfort, IL; Joe Knupp of Chicago, IL; 4 Sisters: Peggy Guenther of Frankfort, IL; Elaine Wilson of Frankfort, IL; Irma Pemberton of Howell, MI; Carol Eubank of Greenup, IL; 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, 3 Brothers and 2 Sisters.

Mrs. Oakley was a homemaker and she enjoyed fishing, traveling and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
