Obituary
Margie Marie Elliott, 89, of Arthur, died at 8:25 AM Friday, August 23, 2013 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at the Vine Street Christian Church, Arthur, with Rev. Dawn Ingram officiating. Burial will follow in the Arthur Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 PM Monday at the Shrader Funeral Home, 431 S. Vine
Street, Arthur.
Margie was born September 26, 1923 in Arthur, the daughter of Harold Martin and Emma Kathryn Agge Lacy. She married Ralph Leon Elliott in Tuscola on June 10, 1978; he preceded her in death on March 30, 2000.
Survivors include her daughter, Joellen Johnson of Arthur; sister, Nancy Bell of Lady Lake, Florida; 4 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Larry Morris; grandson, Tim Castle; brother, Merril Lacy; and sister, Doris Carman.
Margie was a graduate of Arthur High School Class of 1940. She worked as the Administrator for East Gate Manor in Washington, Indiana. She was a member of the Vine Street Christian Church. Memorials are suggested to the church.
