Obituary
Margarine "Margie" Fay Sentel, 92, of Arthur, died at 4:15 PM Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010 at Mason Point near Sullivan.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, December 10, 2010 at Shrader Funeral Home, 431 S. Vine Street, Arthur, with Rev. Doug Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Arthur Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the funeral service from 9:00-11:00 AM.
Mrs. Sentel was born October 8, 1918 in Douglas County, the daughter of Levi B. and Rena E. Crist Price. She was united in marriage to Edwin Elmer Sentel in Arthur on January 3, 1948; he preceded her in death on April 5, 1982.
Survivors include 3 sons, Gary (Sheila) Sentel of Arcola; Lyle (Judy) Sentel of Arthur; Lynn (Jane L.) Sentel of Bowling Green, Ohio; 1 daughter, LuAnn (Wayne) Montgomery of Smyrna, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 1 soon to be born. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Mrs. Sentel was a farmer's wife but also had worked at Progress Industries in Arthur. She was a member of the Arthur Rebekah Lodge and Ladies Auxiliary; past election judge in Lowe Township; and former volunteer at the Arthur Reception Center.
