Margaret Ann "Marge" Wegeng Long, 91, of Tuscola, IL, formerly of Camargo, IL passed away at 10:07 p.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, March 17, 2017 at the Forty Martyrs Catholic Church, 201 East Van Allen Street, Tuscola, IL with Father Angel Sierra officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday at the church. Burial will be in the Camargo Cemetery, Camargo, IL. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, Tuscola, IL is handling the arrangements.

Mrs. Long was born on May 24, 1925 in Champaign, IL, the daughter of John Thomas and Margaret Madigan Wegeng.

She married Paul Long in 1941. He preceded her in death on November 2, 2009.

Survivors include a son: Dennis Long and wife: Susie of Camargo; a daughter: Margaret (Long) Kaye of Loveland, CO; 3 granddaughters, 3 great-grandsons, 1 great-granddaughter, a sister: Joanne Patterson of Silver Springs, MD, a brother: James "Bill" Wegeng of Edwardsville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Aquin Wegeng and sister: Mary Childers.

Mrs. Long was a member of Forty Martyrs Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society.

She was a loving farmer's wife, mother and grandmother, a friend to all. Marge so enjoyed garage sales.
