Margaret Josephine Donnelly, 83, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 8:45 am, Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am, Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at the Forty Martyrs Catholic Church, 201 East Van Allen Street, Tuscola, IL, with Father Barry Harmon as celebrant.
Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the mass at the church.
Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL
Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL is handling the arrangements.

Margaret Jo was born on September 8, 1927 in Cairo, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Eloise Kierce Flamm. She married James "Jim" Donnelly on September 11, 1946 in Cairo, IL. He survives.

Other survivors include her son: Francis James Donnelly, Jr. and wife Suzanne of Fox River Grove, IL, her daughter: Mary Margaret "Peggy" Cinquegrani and husband Joseph of Carol Stream, IL, Grandchildren: Caroline, Katie, Jocelyn and Joe, Sister: Mary Dickerson and husband: Paul of Mt. Vernon, IL

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She retired from the University of Illinois, where she worked as a secretary to the director of the counseling center. She was a member of the Forty Martyrs Catholic Church and Altar Society. Margaret Jo was an avid gardener, historical archivist (A Collection of History and Memories of Forty Martyrs Parish) and family genealogist.
