Marcian H. "Marc" Kleiss, 63, of Tuscola, IL, passed away suddenly at 12:29 p.m., Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL with Father Angel Sierra officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Pesotum, IL.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the funeral home. A Rosary will be recited at 5 p.m. on Thursday prior to the visitation.

Marc was born on September 2, 1953 in Tuscola, IL, the second oldest son of Alfred E. "Sonny" and Doris J. Nunn Kleiss. He married Patricia Morrow on October 23, 1976.

Survivors include his children: Tiffany Wingert of Ames, IA, Robbie Kleiss of Tuscola and Rachel (Phil) Kleiss of Villa Grove, 9 grandchildren: Ryan, Zach, Tanner, Caleigh, Keagan, Jalen, Lauren, James and Carson, his siblings: James Edwin Kleiss, Janice Lynn Moody, Anthony Eugene "Andy" (Barb) Kleiss and Daniel Joseph (Amy) Kleiss all of Tuscola, Joyce Elaine (Dave) Arseneau of Ft. Myers, FL, many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the TUSCOM Little League or Tuscola Community Foundation.

Marc graduated from Tuscola Community High School in 1971. He was a farmer and loved spending his summers ranching in Wyoming. Marc loved watching baseball. He loved the Cardinals and he also held a special place in his heart for the Cubs.

He loved watching his grandchildren play sports. Marc was a member of the Tuscola Moose Lodge.
