M. Aileen Jividen, 84, of Argonne, WI, formerly of Atwood, IL, passed away at 7:45 am, Sunday, July 3, 2011 at the NuRoc Community Nursing Home, Blackwell, WI
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 66 East US Highway 36, Atwood, IL, with Dr. Lanny Faulkner officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am on Thursday until time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mackville Cemetery, Atwood, IL
Aileen was born on July 16, 1926 in Atwood, IL, the daughter of Oscar C. and Beulah M. Mayfield Stephenson. She married James Jividen on February 27, 1944. He preceded her in death on December 28, 1987.
Surviving is her daughter: Kathy Bruenning and husband: Louie of Argonne, WI, grandson: Mark (Bonnie) Nelson and two great-grandsons: Tyler and Blake Nelson, sister: Judith (Richard) Maggio of Tuscola, IL
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Melvin Stephenson
Mrs. Jividen was a retired assembly line worker for Abbott Labs in Chicago and a she worked as a waitress. Aileen was a member of the First Baptist Church of Atwood. She really enjoyed living in the north woods. Aileen loved to go fishing, work in her garden and feed the birds, especially hummingbirds.
Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Atwood.
