Lowell L. Leonard, 86, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 3:46 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2015 at his residence.

Memorial visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL.

Mr. Leonard was born March 24, 1929 in Oak Park, IL, the son of Willard and Eleanor Loveland Leonard along with his fraternal twin, Willard. He married Jean Bostic on August 13, 1948 in East St. Louis, IL. She preceded him in death on September 11, 1998.

Lowell is survived by one daughter: Karen Cedarmoon of Hoveland, MN; 2 sons: Steve (Marilyn) Leonard of Tuscola, IL and Bill (Suzanne Bally) Leonard of Bourbonnais, IL; 4 grandchildren: Nick (Abby) Leonard of Portage, MI; Brian (Patti) Leonard of Lincolnshire, IL; Cara (Daryl Hunt) Johnston of Kankakee, IL and Amanda (Scott) Cline of Nisswa, MN; 8 great-grandchildren: Leo, Dylan and Dakota Leonard; Lance and Brooke Johnston, Drew, Lucas, Carter Cline; Liam and Cole Leonard.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his brother Willard and sister: Betty Flesor, parents and daughter-in-law: Barbara Leonard

Lowell retired from Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, Urbana, IL.
