Louise Rita Stephenson, 85, of Tuscola, IL, formerly of Lowellville, OH, passed away at 6:28 a.m., Sunday, November 25, 2012 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 131 East Wood Street, Lowellville, OH. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m., at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 244 McGill Street, Lowellville, OH. Burial will be in the Holy Rosary Cemetery, Lowellville, OH. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL is handling the local arrangements.


Louise was born on February 22, 1927 in Youngstown, OH, the daughter of Bernard and Mary Bobovnick Barnett. She married Joseph T. Robert Stephenson on June 6, 1953 in Youngstown, OH. He preceded her in death on October 2, 1997.

Survivors include her sons: Thomas J. (Kathy) Stephenson of Tuscola, IL and Joseph T. (Pam) Stephenson, Jr. of Coitsville, OH, granddaughter: Kimberly (Chad) Martin of Yorkville, IL and great-granddaughter: Kara Rebecka Martin, brother: Ray Barnett of
Stubenville, OH and a sister: Patricia Yovorsky of Dayton, OH

Louise was preceded in death by her granddaughter: Becka Stephenson, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

Louise was a homemaker. She was a member of the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She loved bowling and playing cards, especially poker.
