Obituary
Lola May Smith, 88, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 12:56 p.m. Friday, August 16, 2013 at the Heartland Health Care Center, Champaign, IL.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 22, 2013 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
Lola May was born on February 19, 1925 in Newman, IL, the daughter of Chester A. and Bessie M. Wells Campbell. She married Lyle C. Smith on October 14, 1945. He survives.
Other survivors include her son: Randy (Terri) Smith of Champaign, IL; daughter: Nancy (Lonnie) Von Lanken of Tuscola, IL and a granddaughter: Amber Von Lanken of Tuscola, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials are suggested to the First Baptist Church of Tuscola.
Lola May was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tuscola, where she played the piano and organ for over 30 years. Lola May was a very loving mother and grandmother.
