Lois V. McDuffee, 75, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 9:32 a.m., Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Tuscola Health Care Center, Tuscola, IL

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tuscola Township Cemetery, Tuscola, IL.

Lois was born on February 21, 1937 in Newton, IL, the daughter of Bill and Sylvia Dufrain Clagg. She married Earl R. McDuffee on December 7, 1953 in Newton, IL. He preceded her in death on June 24, 1995.

Survivors include her daughters: Vicki Hall and husband: Butch of Tuscola and Cindy Stevens and husband: Joe of Tuscola, grandchildren: Shannon Clarkson of Tuscola, Kelli Hall of Tuscola, Amanda Hall of Hillsboro, Brett Hall and wife: Lindsay of Ann Arbor, MI, Duffy Cleland and wife: Spencer of Tuscola, Clint Cleland and wife: Meghan of Tuscola, Skylar Stevens of Tuscola, Mandy Zumbahlen and husband: Brad of St. Charles, MO, and Melinda Harding and husband: Josh of Dorsey, IL, great-grandchildren: Jaycee, Sawyer and Gavin Cleland, Kinzie Cleland, Trystan Stevens, Sam and Sophie Zumbahlen, brother: Robert Shackman and wife: Ila Mae of Hobe Sound, FL, sister: Clara Jourdan and her late husband: Kelly of Newton, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son: Richard McDuffee and step-brother: Morris Clagg

Lois retired from the Douglas County State's Attorney Office in Tuscola.

She was involved with the Tuscola Christmas Bureau for 10 years. She loved spending time with her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were the joy of her life. Lois enjoyed making crafts, sewing, listening to bluegrass music and visiting with her friends.

Memorials are suggested to the Tuscola Public Library, Prairieland Pride Playground or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
