Lois Helm, passed away peacefully on Saturday afternoon, March, 12, 2016 at Carle Hospital in Urbana, IL.

She was born Lois Jean Perry. She lived and went to school in Villa Grove and Atwood. She married Roscoe Helm in 1944. He preceded her in death in 2013.

She was a wife, homemaker and mother on their Tuscola farm.

She is survived by her loving son: Jim (Peggy) Helm, granddaughter: Allie (Miceal) Rooney, daughter: Sandra (Nick) Sebastian, a brother: Phillip (Billye) Perry and niece and nephew: Caroline and Andy.

She was preceded in death by her much beloved grandson: Christopher James Helm, 3 brothers and a sister.

Lois was loving, giving and respectful to all who knew her. Her many talents were sewing, cooking and refinishing antiques. She enjoyed her friends in the bridge club and at knitting club. Lois spent summers with her husband at their Hayward, Wisconsin summer home. She loved to fish and had her own bass boat (Although she did not swim!) She went to supper clubs, enjoyed the casinos and playing bingo.

Lois was a classy lady and will be missed.

Private family services were held. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, Tuscola, IL was entrusted with the arrangements.
