Lloyd Ivan Parkhurst, 79, of Mattoon, died at 10:26 a.m. Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Heartland Senior Living in Neoga.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Shrader Funeral Home, 204 N. Locust Street, Arcola. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Humboldt Cemetery at a later date.

Lloyd was born December 22, 1939 in Willette, Tennessee, the son of Martin and Ruby Mae Harp Parkhurst.

He is survived by 4 children, Mike(Donna) Parkhurst and his twin sister, Patty (Dale) Perry both of Mattoon; Tony Parkhurst; Cathy Swithin of California; 2 brothers, Wendell (Helen) Parkhurst of Charleston; Charles (Sherri) Parkhurst of Edmond, Oklahoma; sister, Hilda Orndorff of Humboldt; and several grandchildren.

Lloyd had worked at an oil refinery as an inside operator.
