She and her family lived in Balatonalmádi, Hungary and immigrated to the United States in 1958 during the Hungarian Revolution. In Hungary, Livia was recognized at age 12 for her gymnastic talent and moved to Budapest to train for the 1968 Olympics. She continued her gymnastic training at Charlie Pond's Palaestrum in Champaign. There she met Kenneth Snyder and they married in 1962. They had three daughters who survive, Gigi Henderson (Dave) of Tuscola, Tisha Ochs of Tuscola and Toni Spencer (Chris) of Coal City, Illinois. She married Robert Morrow in 1998, he survives. Her sister, Gabriella Lorik (Miki) of Wichita, Kansas also survives. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Livia was a very talented artist and she shared her talent with many people who looked forward each year to collecting her new Santa. She crafted Santas for 30 years, each year a new Santa with a new name. She was a florist by trade, owning Petals and Plants Florist in Atwood and Arthur. It was with her unique gift of design, that she was able to share her passion for flowers with others. She maintained a garden of plants, flowers and seasonal decor. She could take anything ordinary and make it extraordinary.

Livia loved watching her grandchildren grow up. She would share with them how to be strong, as she had to be in her life. She was very proud of all of them. Kaci (Dylan) Helfrich, Kara Williams, Ryan (Kaela) Williams of Tuscola, Macey Spencer and Tyson Spencer of Coal City and Carly Ochs of Tuscola. She was also known to spoil her dog, Charlie and her cats, Boots and Bonnie who are very lucky pets.

Livia understood the critical role her nurses played during her illness and especially appreciated the infusion center nurses in the Carle Cancer Center.
