Lisa F. Matthews, 54 of Tuscola, IL, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at her residence.

Lisa's wishes were to be cremated.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Thursday, June 15, 2017 with a Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 p.m., at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery, Oakland, IL

Lisa was born on July 7, 1962 in Urbana, IL, the daughter of Norman E. and Juanita J. Wollard Cox. She married Dennis L. Matthews on October 4, 1997 in Champaign, IL. He survives.

Also surviving are her sons: Casey Coad of Champaign and Christopher Coad of Tolono, daughter: Brandy Coad of Tuscola, step-daughter: Jade (Adam) Wagner of Lockport, grandchildren: Nevaeh, Macy and Charlotte Coad, Reid and Mairin Wagner, brothers; Mike Cox of Fisher, Pat Cox of Clinton and Carl Cox of Mattoon, sisters: Cindy Cox of Urbana, Amber Wilson of Urbana and Becky Cox of TN

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Colleen Roberts and Tina Cole, niece: Crissy and nephew: Norman.

Lisa enjoyed being a stay-at-home grandma to her grandkids, which she loved very much. She enjoyed reading.
