Lindley A. Dauderman, 93, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 9:05 a.m. Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.
Graveside Services with military rites accorded will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Embarrass Cemetery near Brocton, IL with Tim Froese officiating. Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Dauderman was born on October 4, 1922 in Madison County, IL, the son of Otto and Phillapine Espenschied Dauderman. He married Reva D. Wohlert on December 30, 1940 in Festus, MO. She preceded him in death on February 26, 1994.
He is survived by his daughters: Lynona Kauffman of Brocton, IL and Melanie Dauderman of Tuscola, IL; grandchildren: Kimberly (Ron) Warner, Kendra (John) Saddoris, Kyle Joe Kauffman, Paul (Robin) Kauffman, Cara Thorskin, Samantha Dauderman and Butch (Sondra) Burwell; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and grand dog: Penelope, niece: Julann Hastings and nephew: Robert "Bobby" Dauderman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son: Jimmie Lee Dauderman, a daughter: Linda Beth Burwell and brothers: Emerson and Melville Dauderman.
Lindley retired from USI Chemical plant after more than 30 years of service and served as an officer in the Operating Engineers union. He proudly served his country as a member of the US Army during World War II. He raised and showed quarter horses for many years.
