Linda L. Watkins, 55, of Tuscola, IL, passed away at 9:35 am, Sunday, December 5, 2010 at her residence.
Memorial Services will be held at 7:00 pm, Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the Hilligoss Shrader Funeral Home, 705 South Main Street, Tuscola, IL, with Rev. Jason Braaten officiating. Memorial Visitation will be held from 5:30 pm on Thursday until time of services. Private family interment will be held.
Linda was born on February 25, 1955 in Decatur, IL, the daughter of Robert L. and Opal M. Edwards Longwill.
Survivors include her children: Shawn Watkins and Lori (Josh) Bales of Tuscola, IL, 2 granddaughters: Madison Vansickle and Kayleigh Bales, sister: Phyllis Foley of Naples, FL
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Mabel Pratt
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society
Linda worked as a medical receptionist at the Carle Clinic in Mattoon. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Tuscola. She loved spending time with her granddaughters and watching Fighting Illini basketball.
